Purpose

Being involved in the creation and execution of effective design campaigns across multiple platforms for all target markets including internal, consumer and dealer within tight deadlines, You need to be self-motivated, thrive under pressure, have an excellent eye for detail and have the ability to multitask, while actively embracing our core business philosophy.

A typical day as a Digital Creative Designer at www.autotrader.co.za would be to:

To conceptualise and craft fresh art direction for all target markets in the business including internal, consumer and dealer markets
Be the custodian of the brand guidelines within the business
Interpret creative briefs and be able to develop a suitable concept
Liaise with internal teams and agencies to ensure continuity of delivery within agreed time frames
Understanding of current design trends, digital (web, mobile, e-mail) and social media design
Understand brand identity and translate the brand message accordingly
Develop, enhance and execute cohesive creative strategy toward the business goals of the business
Ability to quickly design for web, mobile, social media
Ability to creatively edit film footage and create bespoke animated short films
Prepare pre-training guides and infographics prior to customer visits
Create online display advertising campaigns by designing creative elements suited to promote our brand through various online platforms, including desktop, tablet and mobile
Quickly edit raw footage into a smooth, enticing short film geared for social media.

Who we’re looking for:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in graphic design / multi-media (agency experience preferred)
Excellent understanding of the digital marketing environment and social media
Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop / Adobe In-design /Adobe Illustrator / / Dreamweaver / Adobe After Effects / Adobe Premier Pro / Adobe Animate)
HTML5
MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
iOS
Google Web Designer
Final Cut Pro
