*Job Description:*

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to join our team. The Laboratory Manager will oversee the daily operations of our testing facility, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

2. Oversee all laboratory activities, including sample processing, testing, and reporting, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of results.

3. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements.

4. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain equipment to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.

5. Review and analyze test results, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide guidance to laboratory staff as needed.

6. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.

7. Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve laboratory practices and capabilities.

8. Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork within the laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related discipline). Advanced degree preferred.

2. Minimum of [X] years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or managerial role.

3. Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality assurance practices.

4. Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 17025, GSO standards).

5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team of laboratory technicians and scientists.

6. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

7. Proven track record of managing projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results.

8. Proficiency in computer software applications (e.g., LIMS, MS Office) for data analysis and reporting.
